Thanks for sticking up for Houston. I've lived in Houston for 36 years. Houstonians are friendlier that most places I've visited. I don't remember the last time I met a rude person in this town.

According to the Houston media websites, Rep. Giffords will be brought to Houston for rehab. I think it's a good move, since she has many family and friends in the Houston area. Best wishes for her recovery.

Not flying is not a possibility. Once a month I fly long distances to check on an elderly relative. Xrays, patdowns, searches, are what I am stuck with. What it really feels like is assault.

I have to travel long distances each month in a short amount of time to see a elderly relative. Driving is out of the question. "No more flying" is not an option. I'm going to have to grit my teeth, "relax and enjoy it". Yeah, right...like rape.

Dikembe Mutombo has always been a class act. His charity work in Houston will be remembered for a long time. It's good he's giving back. I love his priorities: first, a hospital, then a school, then sports facilities. Heal them, educate them, make them fit.
